BECOME A VOLUNTEER AT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CYCLING MARATHON IN EUROPE

Event description: The Swiss Cycling Alpenbrevet with start and finish in Andermatt is one of the classic cycling marathons in the Alps and leads over the most beautiful passes in Switzerland with its challenging but picturesque routes. This year, it will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024 and is considered by many to be the highlight of the season. The traditional event is sold out every year with over 3,000 participants from all over the world.

We are looking for: Motivated, hard-working and responsible people who will make an unforgettable experience possible for the participating cyclists and themselves with their great commitment and enthusiasm.

Location: Event location Andermatt (UR) or start location Ulrichen (VS)

Application dates: September 6-8, 2024 (individual days also possible)

Departments:
– Bib number distribution / Check-In participants
– Catering / Refreshments
– Set up and dismantling of the start and finish area
– Parking lot instruction / traffic safety
– Accommodation support
– Allrounder / Jumper
– Etc.

What you get for your volunteer work:
– volunteer shirt and gilet or jacket
– Meals during the volunteer work
– Accommodation in shared room (if not resident in the region)

Important info:
– For early morning assignments (e.g. on the event day itself), arrival is already the day before.
– Start of operation on Saturday is already early in the morning (guideline 4h00 in the morning)
– Preference will be given to people who can help on more than one day
– The work should be fun! However, it should also be done properly and with enthusiasm. Therefore, it is important to us that we can fully trust the volunteers. As a volunteer you commit yourself to do the work with a good conscience and in the sense of a successful event.
