The right clothing for a Gran Fondo at the Alpenbrevet

The Alpenbrevet is a great challenge for man/women, machine and clothing. It is therefore important to choose the right material when crossing passes. A change of temperatures demands that as full a range of cycling clothing as possible be carried. Our partner Giordana has therefore provided you with the most important tips for choosing the right clothing for the Alpenbrevet 2022.

Clothing Checklist

On hot summer days, cycling clothing can usually be reduced to a minimum. At the Alpenbrevet, however, despite the mostly sunny weather, suitable clothing for wind, rain and cold should always be carried along. The duration of our event prevents us from planning ahead and we must always be prepared for cool temperatures or a sudden thunderstorm. Meanwhile, you can achieve a lot with just a few important things. For example, an ultra-thin jacket that is completely windproof and keeps you dry for up to 3 hours with a 10000 water column. Ideal as a companion on our passes. Protects against wind and water. In addition, we also recommend the new Alpenbrevet arm and leg warmers, take up little space, but still keep you nice and warm thanks to the insulating inner material.

  • Bib shorts

  • Cycling gloves
  • Baselayer
  • Jersey
  • Arm and leg warmers
  • Ultra thin rain jacket
  • Helmet and sunglasses
